In a field trial, Intra mammary infusion of E. coli (bacteria) caused large decrease in concentration of ascorbic acid in plasma and milk from challenged quarter. Larger decrease in plasma and milk ascorbic acid of challenged quarter increased bacterial count & severity of mastitis.

Dosage:
Large animals: 30 ml./day for 3-5 days Small animals: 10-15 ml./day for 3-5 days or as directed by the Veterinarian. I.M./I.V./S.C. route.
