Description

Respiratory Diseases in Poultry are characterized by Running nose, foamy running eyes. In severe cases, there are swollen sinuses and even death. Various factors are mainly causing respiratory problems are stress, pathogens, etc

In case of stress condition as transportation, heat, humidity, high stock density, etc poultry birds are more prone to pathogens as Mycoplasma, Corona virus, Herpes virus, etc These all leads to Respiratory problem. Some other as fungal infection as Aspergillus leads to Inflammation of lungs, Air sacs, etc. Bacterial infections as Pasturella leads to Pneumonia.

There is another Type-A influenza virus leading to Avian influenza causing severe economic loss to farmers and high mortality rate
Another one is Fowl-pox caused by the Pox-virus where ulcers are seen in Trachea and Skin.
IBV (Infectious Bronchitis) caused by Corona virus leading to coughing and Wrinkled eggshells.
ILT(Infectious Laryngotracheitis) caused by Herpes-virus leading to Bloody Mucus.
Mycoplasma Gallisepticum (MG) seen in Turkey and passed to chicks via hatching eggs.
CRD is Chronic Respiratory Disease is seen in backyard fowls leading to Snuffing, Sneezing, Coughing, etc.

There is another disease as New Castle Disease caused by a virus may lead to Respiratory problems along with Green watery diarrhea.

Bacterial Infections as:-
Infectious coryza
Fowl cholera
Colibacillosis all associated with respiratory distresses

Dosage

10 ml /100 birds to be given for
every 8-10 hrs in drinking water.
