Description
Ovarian cysts are one of the most common dysfunction of ovary in dairy cattle, which can lead to anestrous causing considerable economic losses.
Beta carotene is found in high concentrations in ovary & plays a direct role in ovarian functions.
Low Beta Carotene levels are responsible for anoestrus, delayed ovulation & higher incidence of ovarian cysts.
Dosage
To increase the chances of conception (To prevent repeat breeding): 50 ml per animal per day for 20 days after/before A.I. or natural service
As management tool to shorten inter calving period (To prevent anoestrus): 50 ml per animal per day till onset of estrus or as directed by the veterinarian.
